American Psycho
American psycho is a movie based on the novel by Bret Ellis with the same name. It is a psychological thriller but also has the ingredients of satire, drama and a black comedy. Directed by Mary Harron and starring the flawless Christian Bale, it is a masterpiece in the genre and has gathered the love of the fans worldwide. The plot tells the story of Patrick Bateman (Bale) who is one of the most influential figures in a Wall Street firm that belonged to his father. During the day, Bateman lives as an extrordinary businessman but a normal person -chats with collegues, works hard, contributes to the company’s success. During the night, however, he going to storage units disguised as nightclubs and is on rampage -thirsty for blood and addicted to killing people that never did anything wrong to him, that he even did not know.

The hidden split of the human soul might be so invisible that people might not be able to see even a bit of it, or as once happens in the movie, even being told they might not believe no matter how strong the words were.
