The Modern Day Treasure Hunt

Now who doesn’t like playing video games well I do I prefer a good old fashioned treasure hunt. I however had to get a carte r4i for my Nintendo player because my brother was coming over but I wanted to play treasure hunt. I did a search online to find out how I can make this interesting. Here is what I found out.

The modern day treasure hunt can be a hobby which gives a person his personal satisfaction, or the ability to make money by selling the antiques he has collected. or a game with the goal of finding a hidden treasure. This can also be in the form of games that involve the use of the internet. There are three types of modern day treasure hunt.

1. Antique collection: This is a hobby of collecting materials that are of fine quality, very old, very rare and increases in value as time goes by. These antiques can be sold for higher prices and can give a big profit to the seller.

2. Geocaching: This is a kind of hide and seek game using GPS device, the basic idea of which is to locate containers (geocaches) hidden in parks, trails, and other scenic areas. It can be a fun game for the whole family.

3. Letterboxing: This is also a game involving journals, rubber stamps and ink pads. The treasures are inside the boxes hidden in nature. The game participants should find the treasure by following a series of directions from the hider, and posted on the internet. When the treasure boxes are found and the process has been completed, the boxes are returned to its original location.
