Why I Think it’s OKAY to Buy Shoes!
Why do men find it so strange for girls to buy lots of different shoes? Well, perhaps not every man is like this but all the ones I’ve ever known are!
Okay, I admit it; a lot of us ladies have a bit of a ‘footwear weakness’… but does that make us so weird? At least shoes are practical, whereas men will spend their money on the most ridiculous things –
· Beer Mats
My last boyfriend had a serious ‘beermat fetish’and spent hours trawling thru eBay for ‘really rare ones’. Now, I never said anything, but I always thought this was a little bit sad… After all, who wants smelly old ‘pub paraphernalia’cluttering-up their home???
· Key Rings
I’ve known a couple of men who spent ludicrous amounts of money on key rings! And what exactly is the point in that? After all, you can only use one (or maybe two) at once! And does it really matter if it says, ‘ Electricians London ‘, ‘Budweiser‘ or ‘Boring Key Ring Collector’ on it?
· Remote Control Cars
Loads of men get their jollies from R/C cars. That is bad/sad enough in itself, but they always seem to be going wrong! And it costs a fortune to get them fixed! ‘Boys and their toys’; it’s so true, isn’t it?
· Video Games
I’d say that at least 80% of guys love to sit around playing games. I can deal with that (just), but most titles cost an absolute bomb these days! Personally, I’m quite happy having a go on ‘Spider Solitaire’every now and then…
